Credentia is a tool for UK doctors working towards specialist registration through the GMC's Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR). It's built by Medberry, a clinical software company for UK doctors.
What you can do today
Credentia's first feature is a free AI CV Analyser. You upload your CV (or paste it in) and, in under a minute, you get:
- An overall readiness score against GMC Portfolio Pathway / CESR criteria.
- A section-by-section verdict telling you what's strong, what's weak, and what's missing.
- A summary of unexplained gaps in your employment history.
- Practical recommendations for what to gather before you submit.
There is no charge, no credit card, and no commitment. You sign in once with a magic link — that's it.
What's coming soon
We're building a full portfolio tracker that picks up where the CV Analyser stops:
- A home for every piece of evidence, organised by GMC domain.
- Expiry tracking for things like ALS, safeguarding, appraisal, and revalidation.
- A submission-ready evidence pack you can hand to the GMC.
The tracker is currently invite-only for Anaesthetics and Emergency Medicine. If you'd like early access, email hello@credentia.pro.
Who Credentia is for
Credentia is designed for:
- Doctors on the Pathway / CESR route to specialist registration.
- SAS doctors, locally employed doctors, and international medical graduates working towards a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration.
- Doctors gathering evidence over months or years and needing to know where they stand right now.
It is not designed for trainees on a recognised UK training programme (CCT route) — although you're welcome to use the free CV Analyser at any career stage.
Who Credentia is not
We are independent of the GMC, the Royal Colleges, and your employer. Credentia's analysis is an AI-generated opinion designed to help you self-assess; final decisions about specialist registration rest with the GMC. Always check current GMC Portfolio Pathway guidance before submitting.
