This is the fastest way to understand what the CV Analyser does and what you'll get back. Allow about a minute.
Step 1 — Sign in with a magic link
Go to credentia.pro/cv. Enter your email address and tick the marketing checkbox if you'd like occasional product updates (entirely optional). We email you a one-click sign-in link — there's no password to remember.
The link is single-use and expires after a short time. If it stops working, just request a new one.
Step 2 — Pick your specialty
Once signed in, choose your specialty from the dropdown at the top of the page. Today that's:
- Anaesthetics (reviewed against RCoA and GMC guidance)
- Emergency Medicine (reviewed against RCEM and GMC guidance)
The analyser uses a different prompt and section list for each specialty, so it's worth picking the right one.
Step 3 — Add your CV
You can either:
- Drag and drop (or click to browse) a PDF, Word document (`.docx`/`.doc`), or text file, **or**
- Paste the text directly into the text area.
The character counter underneath tells you whether you've added enough — aim for at least 800 characters for a meaningful result.
Step 4 — Click "Analyse CV"
We send your CV to our analysis backend, which compares it against GMC Portfolio Pathway / CESR criteria for the specialty you chose. Most analyses return in under 60 seconds.
Step 5 — Read your verdict
Your result has four parts:
1. Overall score and rating — a 0–100 readiness score and a label of Strong, Adequate, Needs Work, or Insufficient.
2. Four summary tiles — Strengths, Critical Gaps, Gaps in Service, and Warnings (format and chronology issues).
3. Section-by-section review — every section is tagged Present, Weak, or Missing, with a finding and a recommendation. Click any row to expand.
4. Re-analyse — change your CV and run it again whenever you want.
Your most recent result is saved to your account automatically, so you can close the tab and come back later.
